A CHRISTMAS REFLEXION

Passionate people move and challenge everything; their point of view involves colors and shapes, and they used to smile and laugh a lot, contagious and inspiring others with their distinctive shine. They always deliver and expect more — and many people used to confuse it. But it's only that their passion goes beyond, and often at the same pace as their vision — they can see success in something before accomplishing it. They used to embrace changes, and their state of mind encourages daring and risk. They are the extraordinary people who make a difference.
Through the Put Your Dream to the Test, an amazing book by John Maxwell, one of my favorite authors. I knew the story behind the successful business of Taylor Guitars. Bob Taylor, the founder of the company, has experienced difficult financial situations before achieving success, but during that time, he never let to build guitars. He never stopped, even when the struggle continued. So, you could imagine the guitar museum that he built before selling at least one guitar. Of course, he achieved it; his passion finally paid off. But the inspirational story behind the guitar man lies in a passion coupled with a vision that pulls him to never give up. In fact, a question about why he keeps fighting and never explores something new during those times, Bob responds, “I was stressed out about the lack of money, but I was actually pretty happy during the day because I was actually building guitars and living my dream". This reflection highlights the high price that passionate people often pay for pursuing their dreams. In short, do only those things that you love.
When passion pushes you, passion creates possibilities, and even when you feel you’re losing, success surrounds you. With the value of these thoughts in mind, dig deep into the following questions: What does success really mean? Do you feel passionate about your job? Are you surrounded by passionate people? Are you inspiring your team? Do you take the time to listen to them? Now, go back to your 2026 plan and include listening, contagious, inspiring, and fuel them.
Before concluding your next year's goals, ensure to empower the extraordinary people who will be responsible for achieving significant results. “Some people have a dream and a great team; their dream is INEVITABLE." Wishing you a Happy and successful 2026!
